Domaines Bouteiller lies in the commune de Cussac-Fort Médoc, in the heart of the Haut-Médoc, and consists of three internationally known estates, Château Lanessan, Château Lachesnaye and Château de Sainte Gemme.

Outstanding wines
From these three estates, Domaines Bouteiller offers five very high-quality wines produced with an emphasis on the extraordinary treasures of their ‘terroir’:

A story of people
For 200 years, the Delbos family, followed by their descendants, the Bouteiller family, have been making outstanding wines that match the characteristics of their unique ‘terroir’. With the Domaines Bouteiller workforce, from winemaker to cellar-master, they invest all their expertise and passion to bring perfection and balance to these wines. And the connoisseurs are not wrong: a man’s signature on a label is often the best of guarantees.

A visit not to be missed
Every year, over 10,000 visitors take part in the fascinating tour of the winery and the cellars, and the splendid Horse Museum Each visit is crowned by a tasting of Domaines Bouteiller wines.

A company

Domaines Bouteiller extends over 380 hectares, 70 of which are planted with vines, which belong to the ‘Groupement Foncier Agricole des Domaines Bouteiller’ and are run by the ‘Société Civile d’Exploitation Agricole Delbos-Bouteiller’. All the shareholders in these entities are members of the Bouteiller family.

 Hubert Bouteiller has been in charge of Domaines Bouteiller for over 30 years, with one constant objective: “To produce the best wine that nature allows every year, using an every-increasing knowledge of the Châteaux Lanessan, Lachesnaye and Sainte Gemme ‘terroirs’.
