    Sommeliers International n° 135 - Spring 2012

  • In 2007, an under-estimated year, which produced aromatic, soft wines, but with real flesh and above all lots of freshness, the Calèches that was made has already become a lovely bottle of subtle, distinguished, very digestible wine, basically what you expect from a good Bordeaux.

  • Le Monde Magazine - February 2010

  • Pretty robe with crimson hints. Appealing floral and fruity bouquet. A smooth, quite light wine with subtle body. A well-made, approachable wine that can be enjoyed now. A nicely made, expressive wine that is a joy to taste.

Score: 85/100 - Gilbert et Gaillard 2008 Guide

  • Intense crimson robe. Fruity bouquet reminiscent of Griotte and ripe cherry. Pleasing on the palate, this wine combines fruit, freshness and body. Smooth, balanced and quite long.

Score: 83/100 - Gilbert et Gaillard Guide - December 2003

  • Intense, pure garnet robe. Clean bouquet of very ripe fruit against a background of humus and spice. Concentrated palate with flesh and balance. The nose aromas return on the palate with a hint of liquorice on the finish.

  • A straightforward, honest wine, ready now.
