PRÉSENTATION

  • Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon,
    Merlot and Petit Verdot

    13 hectares (32 acres) of 20-year-old vines
    growing in deep Garonne gravel beds.

    Mechanically harvested when the fruit is optimally ripe.

    It is sorted with optical screening equipment.

  • Fermented in coated concrete tanks equipped
    with temperature control. The winemaking techniques,
    pumping over, rack and return are used according
    to the needs of the vintage and the fruit.

    More-ish, fruity nose.
    Silky, chewy tannins.
    Attractive fresh and aromatic finish.

2014

  • It is dense, tannic, and has a very nice aromatic palette. This wine also shows great finesse and great balance.

  • In the line of the previous vintages, Les Calèches de Lanessan 2014 is a wine cut for the keeping, even if it can be tastyly enjoyed now.

2013

  • Solid structure. Beautiful fruit. Everything comes together harmoniously, with a fresh finish.

  • Service : 16°C / Ageing : 10 years Visual aspect: superb, very luminous. Nose: very delicate and elegant on splendid fruity aromas. Palate: full-bodied, charming and sumptuous, revealing fruity flavours again. Match with food: leg of lamb served with small vegetables.
