PRÉSENTATION

  • Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon
    and Merlot

    8 hectares (20 acres) of 20-year-old vines
    growing in sandy clayey gravel.

Mechanical harvest. The fruit is sorted with
    optical screening equipment.

  • The juice is fermented at a low temperature
in order to lock in the freshness and fruity
aromas. Vatting is short in order to highlight
    the roundness of the tannins.

Fruity nose of berries and cherry with a slight
    peppery hint. Velvety, chewy tannins.
    Sustained finish of red fruit
    jelly and blueberry.

Vintages Awards, tasting notes

2014

  • To come

2011

  • Displays modern appeal. Hints of mocha with grilled and fruity notes. The wood is noticeable, but it has mellowed and the tannins are round.

    Note: 16 - Decanter Magazine

  • Aromas of cake and dessert, as well as sweet spice with peppery overtones and hints of fresh leather and redcurrant. The wine is round and smooth, which is quite outstanding for this difficult year.

    Note: 84 - Robert Parker - erobertparker.com - april 2014

2009

  • Good weight of vibrant red and black fruit with a real touch of elegance yet high acidity. Fresh, elegant, easy-drinking proper Bordeaux. Just a touch too light. 3 Star Wines Recommanded - Score: 15,17.

    Decanter - Crus Bourgeois 2009 - February 2012
